  • DELIVERY PUMP — Not a Booster Pump: The DDP 5800 is a post-tank delivery pump that pressurizes water from your RO storage tank to your faucet, fridge, or ice maker on demand. It is NOT an inlet booster pump placed before your RO membrane. If your tank fills fine but water dispenses slowly at the faucet, this is your fix. If your RO system produces little to no water overall, the issue is upstream and this pump will not resolve it.
  • 0.7 GPM Flow Rate — What That Means for You: At 0.7 gallons per minute, this pump fills a standard 8-oz glass in under 7 seconds. Flow is consistent as long as your RO storage tank has water in it. If flow slows over time during a dispensing session, your tank may be running low — this is normal RO system behavior, not a pump malfunction.
  • 70 PSI Maximum Output / 60 PSI Auto Shutoff: The 5800's 3-chamber diaphragm generates up to 70 PSI open-flow pressure. The built-in pressure switch automatically shuts the pump off at 60 PSI and restarts it when pressure drops below that threshold — meaning the pump only runs when you're actively drawing water. Normal operating pressure at the faucet will feel between 50–60 PSI. If your pump runs continuously and never shuts off, check for a leak or open faucet in the line.
  • 3/8" Push-Connect Ports + 1/4" Stem Reducer Included — Read Before Installing: Standard connections are 3/8" OD tubing push-to-connect. If your RO system uses 1/4" tubing, use the included stem reducer adapter (already in the box — no separate purchase needed). Install the pump on the OUTPUT side of your storage tank, before the faucet. Includes a 60 PSI pressure switch (pre-wired) and a 6-foot 3-prong power cord. Most installs take 20–30 minutes with no special tools. Do not install on the inlet/membrane side of your RO system.
  • What it Solves - Low RO water flow to fridge or icemaker, weak pressure after the RO tank, long tubing runs are killing pressure. If your pump runs and the flow feels weak, check the tank as the air charge may be too low.
  • Quiet Operation — What to Expect (Read This Before Buying): The 5800's patented 3-chamber design runs significantly quieter than older single-piston pumps. You will hear a low, consistent hum (~45dB — similar to a running refrigerator) when the pump cycles on during water dispensing. This is normal. If you hear rattling or high-pitched noise: (1) ensure all push-connect fittings are fully seated, (2) place the rubber isolation pad under the pump, and (3) verify the pump body is not touching cabinet walls. A rattle almost always means a loose fitting, not a defective pump.
